Apollo’s Pad is a multi-platform entertainment property that combines puppetry, animation, music, and viral videos to entertain the highly desirable young male demographic and most probably offend everyone else.
There are currently 100 produced web and mobile episodes. The show is funny, satirical, socially relevant, and mostly irreverent. It is set in a failing nightclub – run by the hapless 70s throwback Apollo and his son Ice Flow. They’re idiots. But they’re lovable idiots. All the characters are inspired satires of different music genres. And the comedy does not stop with the episodes. Apollo’s pad also presents funky new versions and music videos of classic hits like War by Edwin Starr.
Launched in conjunction with Sony BMG, the property leverages catalogs from Sony BMG and EMI for music videos, music downloads, ringtones, and more.
